Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Classrooms should be places where students can feel comfortable in. By helping me provide the following items, it will help them feel joy and comfort as they know that they will have these items. The big joe bag will give them an area to sit when they read. The monkey weighted plush will provide comfort for them when they are not feeling well. Having the manipulatives will help them feel comfortable in math as we use these farm animals and sea animals to count them in our counting collections.

Even a simple pencil can provide comfort to a new student who has nothing.

As the years go by students are in need of more comfort and to feel safe. By providing these items I can create a classroom that will help students feel that comfort. I want my students to be successful and I believe these items will help them.
