Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Children should come to school each day feeling safe, happy, cozy, and focused to learn. The ceiling light covers creates a warm setting with a welcoming atmosphere that will promote a sense of calm in my students. My kids are very energetic and lively, I believe that giving them not only a comfortable atmosphere but also the supplies they need to make them successful will allow them to reach their academic goals.

My students use their laptops every day to help with reading fluency.

They are in need of headphones with microphones which will keep them focused while others are not distracted by the activity going on in another student’s laptop.

Mrs. Sawyer will only receive her materials if this project is fully funded by July 11.
