Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project provides essential comfort items to support my autism kindergarten students in regulating emotions, building social skills, and engaging in meaningful play. Baby dolls encourage nurturing and social interaction, while weighted toys and sensory socks offer calming sensory input. A dedicated calming area with break space pillows, visuals, and materials will give students a safe place to self-regulate when overwhelmed or upset. By incorporating these tools, I can create a supportive, inclusive environment where all learners feel secure, engaged, and ready to grow. Your support makes a lasting difference!
