This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I recently made a decision to switch to tables from desks. The chairs I have been given will work for most of my students.

However, I teach upper elementary students and that usually means I have at least 3 kids that might not fit comfortably in the chairs that I have.

With these chairs I'd like to be prepared and be able to accommodate those needs quickly. Having these chairs would help me to quickly accommodate those needs without making it seem like a big deal and making them feel uncomfortable. When my students are in my classroom I want them to feel welcome and comfortable so they can focus on learning and they are happy to be there.
