My Project

Throughout my teaching career I have noticed that my students work best in a location that makes them feel comfortable and cozy. I have noticed such a great difference in how students read and how more focused they are when they move around the room and choose a spot in the classroom other than at their seats. Flexible seating gives students the opportunity to choose where they would like to learn in a more comfortable way.

Flexible seating also promotes more engagement during whole group/small group instruction.

Currently my students either sit at their desks or lay on the floor by the meeting area.
