Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are witty and enthusiastic fourth graders. They are also full of energy and are growing each day. This project aims to provide students with things to help comfort and support them.

Since students spend most of their day at school, they often lose their baby teeth there.

Providing students with containers to store their lost teeth will allow them to bring them home safely. This can make a difference in students' feelings of anxiety and excitement about losing a tooth. It's also a great way to celebrate this milestone, making the experience more memorable for the student.

Another way to provide comfort and support to my students is through sensory toys like squishy toys or clay. Some students get anxious in class, and this will allow those students to squeeze or play with it to help them be better focused, less anxious, and less frustrated. It also helps many students stay calm, regulate their emotions, and refocus their attention on learning.
