My Project

Providing a safe space to learn and grow is my main objective as an educator. Students deal with so many aspects of life without guidance on appropriately handling those situations. My goal is for all students to thrive in the classroom as well as in the real world.

A part of my classroom culture is providing a safe space within my classroom for students to work in when they feel pressured socially and emotionally during class time.

Items like floor gaming chairs, and Play-Doh items will be used in that part of my classroom. This area provides flex seating for students during those times.

Supporting my project would support my students in learning in a space that is most effective for them.
