This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students navigate lots of intense, sometimes traumatic situations in their lives. They live in a world that is changing quickly, and sometimes, they need a light-hearted break.
These YA comedy books are exactly what my students need.
Sometimes my students will ask me if I have books in my bookshelf that will make them cry, and other times they ask if I have books that will make them laugh. Books that teens actually find funny can be hard to come by, but many books on this list are teen-recommended and teen approved.
These donations will make a teenage reader's life a little lighter and a little more fun, all while improving their literacy.
