My Project

I am asking for duct tape, Sharpies, and carnival prizes to give to my students so that they can create a cardboard arcade.

At the end of the year, students love stretching their creative muscles by creating a cardboard arcade.

They use recycled boxes and materials to dream up arcade games, and then we invite the kindergarteners to come and play all of the games. The students work in groups from start to finish in the creation, planning, and designing of the game. Students love to lead the kindergarteners around the classroom playing the games and creating such a fun environment that leads to the kindergarteners going home and telling their families how much fun they had experiencing the arcade! This is just a special project that many students remember for many years to come!
