Help me give my students the opportunity to sit at the same table face to face and interact and collaborate. Research shows how important social and interpersonal skills are for those with developmental disabilities.

A chain reaction of support starts with one share.
I teach a moderate /severe special education class. I teach the most wonderful and amazing children! I am working hard to give my students not only practical life skills, but skills that will qualify them for the workforce as well!
My Project
Students with developmental disabilities deserve the opportunity to engage with and collaborate with their peers, just like our typically developing students. In fact, at times, such as in my moderate to severe special needs classroom, these skills must be explicitly taught.
Please give me a workspace where my very special students can collaborate with their peers and peer tutors on projects, learning and be able to do this face to face with enough seating to appropriately use the table.
Thank you very much for your consideration for funding this project.
