My Students

I have the opportunity to loop with my kids from Kindergarten into first grade. I am super excited to embark on this journey with them and have the opportunity to continue seeing their growth.

I teach at a Title I school in NYC, in which 75% of our students receive free breakfast and lunch.

They are sweet students that come into school each day excited for what's to come.

Our school serves students from PreK-8th and I believe we have the most amazing teachers which truly care about our students' whole self.

My Project

In our classroom of 25+ students we are in need of a new classroom rug. A new rug will be a great way to start off a new year, filled with excitement of the journey to come. Nothing is more inviting to children than bright colors that invoke a feeling of comfort and community while learning.

A new rug will allow us to come together everyday in a safe and fun learning space.

We will use our new rug throughout the day during our morning routine, whole group instruction, reading workshop partnerships math centers and fun Friday centers. With all of the traffic that our old rug has received throughout the years we are in dire need of a hygienic rug which will allow us to have one cohesive learning experience.
