My Project

I teach a special population of students who have a second chance at graduating. Our school is located on the Leeward Coast of Oahu, where the beaches are beautiful. We are a Title 1 school and most of the students come from low-income families who receive free lunch. We are a small alternative program that teaches through a cultural base lens. It is where our students can grow by using their brains and hands to successfully learn new skills.

The students will be designing their own small businesses and will develop a marketing plan, branding, and creating items for a mini craft fair to promote their business.

The students will be able to present to a larger group and use their marketing skills to move their products at school. With your help, the students will be able to learn new skills and become their own business owners. Mahalo in advance.
