Combat Dyslexia

I need to become a Barton Reading & Spelling tutor to best support the needs of my dyslexic students.

My Project

More and more students are being diagnosed with dyslexia. As a Reading Interventionist I would like to become a Barton Reading & Spelling tutor to best service my students that struggle significantly with reading. Teaching students with dyslexia takes a specific set of skills and the Barton program is top notch in hitting the areas of reading, writing, and spelling which are the areas that dyslexic students struggle with. Hiring a Barton tutor is expensive for families. If I become a Barton tutor I can offer this service for free through our school which will assist the families in our community.
