My Project

Project Title: "Empowering Online Students to Be COA Kind: A PBIS Initiative" At COA we aim to cultivate a positive and engaging learning environment by helping our students develop key qualities: respect, responsibility, critical thinking, originality, advocacy, and kindness.

This project seeks to implement a system that rewards and acknowledges these behaviors, making a lasting impact on their educational journey.

Specific Items Requested:

1. Educational Resources: Books and journals that promote critical thinking and originality.

2. Recognition Tools: certificates and postcards for students who demonstrate positive behaviors.

How Will These Items Make a Difference?

3. Snack’s and School Supplies: Our students work from home and love snacks, books and often need school supplies for projects.

Goals for This Project

1. Enhance Engagement: Increase student participation in discussions and activities through exciting resources and workshops.

2. Promote Positive Behaviors: Develop a culture where students feel valued and recognized for being respectful, responsible, and kind.

3. Foster Critical Thinking: Encourage students to think critically and creatively by providing resources that challenge their understanding and promote original ideas.

4. Build Community: Create a supportive online community where students advocate for themselves and each other, enhancing their social-emotional learning.
