My Project

Our prekindergarten students come to school each day ready to learn and have fun. They learn and play using a play based curriculum that teaches them the foundational math and literacy skills they will need for success when they reach kindergarten. Much of their learning takes place in our 7 learning centers; toys and games, dramatic play, discovery, sand and water, library, art, and blocks. Each of these centers has its own color associated with it to help students know where they and their materials belong.

The color cardstock will be used to print math and literacy games and activities to color coordinate with the center's color.

The blue cardstock will be used for our toys and games center. The yellow cardstock will be used for our sand and water center. The cardstock paper will be used for our discovery center. The orange cardstock will be used for dramatic play. The pink cardstock will be used for our block center. The purple will be used for art center. The neutral brown colors will be used for our block center. The red will be used for library. The white will be used for materials that are interchangeable throughout the centers or for small group math times. With the laminating sheets, we will be able to laminate all the materials to make them durable and able to use year after year.
