My Students

I work in a community with a large population of underprivileged students. They would greatly benefit from hands on activities.

I enjoy watching them light up each time we do activities or labs, many of which are funded by me.

My Project

I teach in a poor part of town where students can barely get by with going to school. They have very little expendable income. Needless to say, there is not much they can afford in terms of extra supplies and accessories. Sometimes we make posters with magazine cutouts and such. The paints and markers should go a long way in helping add color and zing to the walls of our school and bring joy as well as pride in our young adults. After all every child deserves a good school experience.
