I am a 2nd grade general education teacher that educates students in an economically disadvantaged neighborhood in New York.

My students have a very difficult time obtaining supplies and they come to school unprepared. At the end of each unit in Reading we like to use our creativity and create projects. We are often limited because there are not enough materials.

The crayons, markers, water colors, and oil pastels would ensure that each student in the class can participate at the same time. They can share the activity together as a whole class.

With these materials you will be enriching my students' creativity in Reading and all subjects. In the second grade, we complete many projects and with the supplies my students will be feel empowered, prepared, and successful.
