Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our program consists of children with various special needs and English language learners. My students have different interests, abilities, and goals. I want to create a high-quality preschool classroom that will provide opportunities for them to learn and grow.

My students come to school eager to explore and learn through hands-on activities.

My Project

Having a color printer in my classroom will allow me to provide plenty of visuals that will be very beneficial for my students. When my students can see what comes next, their visual learning skills are activated. This helps them understand and cooperate more. It also reinforces memory, independence, and mental organization of what's to come.

Colorful visuals reinforce and supplement verbal instructions it also provides organization, structure, and predictability to their school day.

Since some visuals often incorporate words with pictures, it aids in comprehension, recognition of words, and the relationship between words and pictures.
