My Students

I am an elementary speech-language pathologist. My caseload consists of preschool students who have articulation needs, two cross-categorical special education classrooms containing up to 26 students, and several K-5 general education students who receive speech and language services.

My students are diverse learners who come from a variety of backgrounds.

We work together in small and whole groups to build the very speech and language skills needed to be successful in school and beyond.

Many of my students have additional needs, such as attention deficit, sensory-based needs, and autism. My hope for my students is that when they leave me, they are able to successfully and confidently communicate with others in and outside of the school environment. With these additional resources, I believe the communication skills of my students will continue to grow.

My Project

These materials will make a difference in speech students' learning as they will be colorful and quickly accessible during sessions as the color printer would be stationed within the speech and language classroom. In addition to the printer, I am requesting the gift cards for use toward HP Instant Ink subscription, which will allow for flexible ink usage and delivered ink based on pages printed. Finally, I am requesting a Teachers Pay Teachers gift card. Teachers Pay Teachers materials are frequently PDF format and printable for easy access to be utilized at school and home.
