Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are creative, curious, and eager to learn—always excited by hands-on activities and colorful materials that make learning feel fun and meaningful. They thrive when they have tools that help them stay organized, express themselves, and engage with content in interactive ways.

With this project, I’m requesting a laminator, mesh zipper pouches, colorful dry erase markers, mini journals, binder rings, and note cards.

These supplies will help me create reusable learning materials, organize student resources, and provide opportunities for writing, drawing, and interactive learning. The laminator will allow me to preserve important materials like visual aids, center activities, and learning games that students can use over and over. The mesh pouches will keep our materials organized and easily accessible. The journals, markers, and note cards will help students express their ideas during gratitude SEL lessons, practice skills, and build confidence through repetition and creativity.

My goal is to create a classroom environment where materials are not a barrier but a bridge to learning. These resources will empower my students to take ownership of their work, stay organized, and engage in learning activities that support their individual needs. Every student in my class is unique, and these tools will help me meet them where they are—making learning colorful, hands-on, and fun every single day.
