My Students

I am one of two teachers in an integrated classroom setting of 20+ students; 60% of our students being general ed., while 40% of our students have special needs. Being a teacher in a low-income high poverty school district, my students are faced with many challenges both inside and outside of the classroom. A majority of my students live in either public housing, shelters, or foster homes, and all of my students receive free lunch based on their socioeconomic status.

My classroom is a place where my students can feel safe regardless of their environmental circumstances.

I love my students and want to be able to give them the world. I see their eagerness to succeed, which makes me eager to provide them with the best education possible. I hope that you can help us with this by funding our projects. I appreciate anything you can give. Thank you!

My Project

All of my students have different learning styles and accommodations, which means I have to find and create differentiated materials to make learning fun and engaging for each of them.

When a child sees a picture in black and white and then in color, they are more engaged with the picture they see in color.

The printer will be used daily to create and print colorful hands-on centers, leveled books from raz kids, educational posters, weekly homework packets, daily handouts, and so much more! Having homework and classwork printed in color will make my students even more excited to learn!
