Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The majority of my students come from low income families. My students come to school ready to learn and eager to share their experiences. First grade is such an important year for the growth and development of all students.

Learning to read and writing their own stories are huge parts of our day.

Watching as they grow and seeing the light in their eyes when they understand a new concept for the first time is priceless.

I am working on building a classroom of learners and explorers through our shared experiences. We are using our experiences to learn and grow every day.

My Project

Help me give my students some new and exciting prizes for the treasure box. The treasure box is a great incentive for positive behavior and working hard. Having new and exciting prizes allows me to motivate all students to always try their best and to behave to the best of their ability.

Help me give my student the colorful resources they need.

We use a lot of charts and diagrams in first grade, and I need to be able to print them in color for the students to better understand.

I would also like to be able to print their stories in color, creating something they can keep forever. I need some colorful pens and markers for them to bring their work to life.

Students also need headphones for personalized learning. Creating a fun and safe environment where all students succeed is important to me.
