My Project
The use of color in a classroom can profoundly affect student attention, behavior and achievement. In my classroom we regularly use highlighters, colored pencils, crayons, etc to color code our notes and worksheets in order to help the students follow the steps required to solve the math problems they are working on.
It would benefit my students greatly to be able to create worksheets, assessments, guided notes, etc that are already color coded so they can gain more independence while working on their assignments leading to less off task behaviors and I can spend more time working one on one with struggling students.
