Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My project, though seemingly small, allows me to provide my students with access to make and print projects, bring their ideas to life, and create a space for them in my office where they can freely express themselves. Having the tools and technology necessary to make this possible would free their endless creative juices.

We are requesting a color printer and ink for the kids to become independent creators, having autonomy and access to the technologies they need to be successful scholars and push them along their learning journey.

Learning is so personal, and I want the students to be able to curate that experience as much as possible with creative outlets and access to make and print their work.

We are also requesting a bookshelf. I have students that have authored their own work, have art all over my office, and have created a truly safe space for themselves within my office. I want the space to feel comfortable, homey, and give them more places to put their creations.
