My Students

My students range from kindergarten to sixth grade, and each and every one of them come to art class enthusiastically and excited about the art they are about to create. My students love to give their ideas for topics for art lessons or mediums they would like to try.

When passing in the hall, students are so eager to find out what we will be doing next and they love to stand and admire all the artwork that is on display.

My Project

We just got a brand new kiln and we are ready to fire it up! The students cannot wait to construct their very own clay creations. They have been waiting to come back to school and start their very first fired pieces. With your help we will be able to make them go from ordinary to extraordinary!

These glazes and stamps will bring life to their clay and allow them to add designs and patterns.

Students will have the opportunity to create pinch pots and coil pots and other vessels that will be food safe and for use in the real world!
