This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Being a kindergarten teacher, seeing that the students are ready to explore, learn and share creates this excitement for learning. With the color printer, ink cartridges, and laminating pouches, I will be able to provide colorful centers for phonics such as matching, CVC words, building sentences, and math games/centers.

I want to maintain and promote the excitement for learning.

The use of color for organization and classroom materials is crucial since many are unable to read yet. Color also has the ability to influence one's mood, health, and performance. Additionally, these materials will help me create independence among students and really take ownership of their learning.
