Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Cool chairs and colorful carpets attract students and make them want to be in those centers. The carpet squares will help my students by providing each student their own individual spaces and make them more aware of their surroundings.

The chairs I have choosen will provide a soft alternative to the hard chairs in my literacy center and make my students want to go to that center and read books.

The social emotional tools I choose will provide ways for my students to understand how they are feeling and ways for them to cope with those feelings.

The math items will my more interactive and interesting for my students and help them to understand the concepts better.

Please help provide these wonderful items for my students and make their year one they won't forget.
