My Project

Dear Donors

Our students are smart, fun, hardworking and enthusiastic 5th graders who truly deserve the best of everything!

We have a combination of general education and special education students who come from a low income neighborhood and are still experiencing residual effects from the pandemic. As a result, regardless of classification, all of our students need some extra colorful small group support. With this project we will be able to provide our students resources such as anchor charts, graphic organizers, and other learning tools and activities all in color!

We are fortunate to have a color printer in our classroom due to the amazing donors at DonorsChoose and we are hoping for even more support! Right now, we have a fantastically new color printer, but our ink is nearly depleted. We don’t want to have to return to every worksheet being solely black and white, because let’s face it, every now and then we all need a splash of color! We need to refill our classroom printer ink (color and black). The color ink will make us even more productive teachers by giving access to learners who categorize information by color or need a picture to grasp a concept. Whether it is an outline for notes, a colored graph or chart, or a worksheet with a picture, students will greatly benefit from seeing the information displayed in color!

We are so excited to add color to various lessons, please help us make sure that we can keep it up throughout the year! Thank you so much for your generosity and know it will make a huge difference!
