This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The ink I am requesting is extremely important to my students because it will help me create engaging reading and writing materials in vibrant colors. For example; vocabulary cards and take home books. Our school printer doesn't print color copies. Having the use of a colored ink for my printer will be a GAMECHANGER! Not to mention, how effective the use of colorful graphics will be to the engagement level of my lessons.

Research supports the importance of incorporating engaging visuals to connect vocabulary concepts with increased language acquisition.
