Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our middle school students benefit from having resource binders, vocabulary word walls and graphic organizers in our classroom. These resources help them learn and allow me, their Social Studies teacher, to differentiate their learning to better meet their needs. It's important that these classroom materials be eye-catching and engaging, and that is why I am hoping to get a new color printer! By having beautiful printed materials, we can bring history to life and provide secondary sources that students can analyze to make connections with their own lives in the 21st century, discuss with peers and learn from each other, and refer to when studying at home.

Some of our students don't have access to printers at home, and create beautiful work that needs to be printed and displayed; a new color printer would make that possible!

Once it's printed, they can take pride in their work that hangs in our hallways and on our classroom bulletin boards. We would all be forever thankful if you'd help us fund our project and add color to our classroom!
