My Students

"Every child has a different learning style and pace. Each child is unique, not only capable of learning but also capable of succeeding" - Robert John Meehan. I truly agree with this quote and with appropriate resources, children can succeed.

This is a ICT class mixed with general education students and students with disabilities.

All children in this class are enthusiastic learners. My goal as a teacher is to teach my students to love learning and to provide them with appropriate materials. In order to reach my goal, some materials and resources are needed.

My Project

My co-teacher and I use a variety of tools that enable our students to track their progress. Being a first year kindergarten ICT teacher, I want to create different center games for math, literacy, science, and music. In order to create these games, we need a color printer to keep things colorful so the kids are engaged. As we all know, children learn through play and having a color printer, my students can experience the joy of learning. With the ink I have requested, my students who need support with differentiated materials would also be able to have their resources created and printed for them in the same day. We want to continue to use these resources, but it would be difficult for us to do so without ink in our classroom printer. In addition to printing classroom resources, we also rely heavily on our printer to create and send home important reminders about our classroom and school. Many of our students' parents do not have access to the Internet at home, so we have found that small half-paged slips of reminders helps to keep all of our families informed and engaged in our school.
