Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our ENL students, and the other students in the school, are AMAZING! Most of the students were born in Ecuador, Bangladesh, the Dominican Republic, Yemen, and many other countries. One reason families have come to our school is to help their children receive an excellent education and to learn English.

Our department works tirelessly to create engaging differentiated materials for students to use in small groups and to help them access and understand the classroom curriculum.

Our department has struggled with being able to print colorful materials for the students to help them make meaningful connections to new vocabulary and would greatly benefit from this color printer. Using colorful pictures and differentiated scaffolds helps students better understand the content being taught.
