This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My third graders are inquisitive, full of energy and they have an eagerness to learn that is unmatched! It is a pleasure to walk into my classroom everyday because I know my students will give their all to achieve their goals. Their excitement for learning keeps me going each and everyday.

I have the great pleasure of having a very diverse population of students in my classroom, each very unique in learning style and academic capabilities.

New York City is home to a diverse culture and a wide range of socioeconomic statuses which are seen throughout the city and in each one of the classrooms. We have a high percentage of students who receive free or reduced-price lunch.

My Project

Help me keep my classroom colorful. My third graders come to school ready to learn everyday. Learning requires some supplies and we need help having these supplies in our classroom. We would love to have access to a color printer because there are many activities and lessons that can be enhanced with color copies.

A new color printer will brighten up our classroom and help engage my students by making learning visually appealing.

It would allow me to print images to help students gain a deeper understanding of new material. Differentiation is the key to success for my students. The printer will allow me to print differentiated materials to meet the needs of all my learners. Having a classroom printer with ink will help my students be successful tremendously! I believe ink is a necessity for any classroom especially if the students are benefiting from it. Your donation will give my students these needed resources to keep our classroom running smoothly and effectively all year, while watching our learning gains grow. I believe that having a classroom printer will enable my students to reach their full potential, by allowing them to see their personal work published in the classroom. I also feel that having a printer will enable me, as their teacher, to be able to print out materials, as they are needed for each student.
