Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach in a very diverse area at a Title 1 school. In my school district students are faced with several challenges both inside and outside the classroom. I would like to provide my students with the resources needed for them to succeed. Many of my students cannot afford basic supplies, let alone the extra materials that would increase their engagement, learning, and motivation. Enriching my students with these materials would allow for their learning experience to be meaningful. I hope to increase students' love for learning and desire to succeed both inside and outside of the classroom.

My Project

This ink will allow my students to incorporate technology into their learning. NYC just provided all students with an in-school device, and in order to for this to be effective, we need ink to print the students work.

My students love working on their computers and tablets, and being able to display their hard work around the classroom, print their assignments, and collaborate on group projects would be extremely beneficial to their learning.

Getting this ink would truly allow my students to express their creativity and achieve amazing things.

This project would also allow me to print anchor charts, differentiated material, and translated materials for my special needs and ENL learners. My students have varied needs and sometimes require an adaptation on the spot.
