Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students live in an impoverished area of South Los Angeles. All of my students come from low-income families. We are a Title I school where ninety-nine percent of our students receive free meals. My students always try their best at everything and anything, despite the challenges that they face in their daily lives.

They are already not expected to have it as easy as others, but we learn that with hard work and consistency, they can be "unique" or different from the rest.

My students are so eager to learn that it makes coming to work easy!

My Project

A color printer will make a difference in my students' learning because color is engaging! This printer will enable me to create posters, various visual aids, charts, activities and assignments in color for my students. This printer will ensure that we will have the materials needed to create engaging learning resources and so much more for my students. This printer will make our daily activities fun and more visually appealing. Also, not all my students have a printer at home. Having this printer in the classroom will allow my students to print their work using this wireless printer.

A color printer provides students with more engaging visuals to understand activities and assignments that we use to learn in class.
