My Students

In our second grade Integrated Co-Teaching classroom, our students have many different interests, backgrounds and abilities. My co-teacher and I plan, create and utilize many different learning centers and stations to keep students engaged and excited about learning.

Our students are wonderfully active and curious and love to learn.

Our class is an Integrated Co-Teaching class with students of varying abilities and special needs. To meet all of these needs, we create many different centers and stations for all subject areas.

My Project

Learning Centers and Stations are created on the computer and need to be printed, laminated, cut and organized into various folders that are easy for students to use and understand. Having a color printer in our classroom will help us create colorful and useful centers based on each student's needs. The color prints will be especially helpful for visual learners in our classroom.

Some of our students are working very hard to meet the demanding requirements of second grade.

Centers allow them to have targeted, repetitive practice to master the specific skills they need to catch or keep up with the Common Core State Standards. Having many different colored centers to choose from will ensure there is a center for each student's needs.
