Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I work with all grade levels from K-5th grade at my elementary school, in a low socio-economic area, where 99% of the students have free or reduced lunch.

The students are very hard-working, dedicated, and motivated, and deserve to have basic, essential resources to be successful.

Continuing to educate and grow our students' post- pandemic is my number one priority, and having the right tools to do so is a requirement. My students should have access to inviting resources to continue through their journey in education.

We need your help to make this year's learning bright and colorful, by requesting a color printer which can be used by all teachers across all grade levels on our school campus.

Being able to make copies in color, having workstations resources in color, organizing data in color is a basic requirement- colored print is so much more inviting than black and white print. We do not have a color printer on school campus, therefore all the work material that I and the other teachers have printed in the past has been in black and white print. All the vocabulary pictures, the literacy copies, and the work-station materials have been in black and write print, which is not very inviting. Our scholars would love to have literacy copies, and workstations literature and educational games in color, so that able to relate to the pictures in real-life. In addition, color coding will also help the students organize their study material, and data folders. Please help me with a color printer so that we can use it for the education of all the students.
