Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

We are an Integrated Co-Teaching (ICT) classroom of 23 students, about half of whom receive special education services. Our students are eager to learn and need the resources in order to be successful in their studies!

Our students come from a variety of different economic backgrounds with most of our students receiving free lunch.

My students walk into our classroom every day full of life, ready to learn, and excited for what is in store for them for the rest of the day!

My Project

A color printer would help me create engaging activities and lessons for my students who struggle with learning and behavior challenges. Color turns a boring worksheet into an exciting, engaging activity that students are more inclined to complete. I would use a color printer to print real life pictures and visuals for my students with language and communication challenges. I would use a color printer to print individual activities as part of differentiated instruction. I would use it to create engaging lessons that would replace the boring black and white workbooks. There is so much I could do for my students with a color printer in the classroom.

Having a color printer would enable me to print lesson plans, worksheets, enrichment activities, and vivid pictures to enhance their vocabulary.

A color printer will allow me to print real world picture that will assist my students in making stronger connections.
