This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Success at school will be significantly enhanced if children have a strong foundation of language skills. My goal is to scaffold my students' literacy development by using differentiated instruction geared to my students learning styles.

My students need a laser color printer to facilitate their learning and create a positive atmosphere in the classroom.

We all know that every child learns differently, and to support their unique and special way of learning it is necessary to create colorful educational materials.

My Project

A laser color printer in the classroom will allow me to print educational materials in colors such as games for centers, flashcards, data tracking, and classroom décor.

The use of color facilitates learning and influence mood in the classroom.

Colorful learning materials produce a higher level of attention and are useful to increase memory performance. With so much information to absorb, color can create the perfect environment that my students need to ease the processes of learning. The use of colorful materials will facilitate the learning of new concepts to my students by allowing them to focus and to memorize the latest information. The use of color materials will definitively alleviate the visual stress that occurs when learning in black and white. It can be concluded that colors tend to capture better attention and thus, better memory.
