My Students

My students are incredible. I could never describe them in one word. They are students that come from low-income families and have a wide range of special needs.

These students never let their disability stop them from reaching their goals.

They work hard, harder than an average student. We have a lot of fun together and they truly are "my kids." They make me want to be a better teacher every day and I am always looking for ways to help them.

My Project

My students are very artistic. They love to draw, create, and color. I try very hard to incorporate art into most of my lessons and the finish products that I receive are amazing.

My students love art so much that they have decided to start an art club.

I am so proud of them for coming up with such an amazing idea that I didn't hesitate to agree to help them start it. We have just started meeting at lunch and the creativity that these students have is amazing. There is only one problem! We do not have any art supplies. We desperately need art paper and pencils so that we can start create beautiful drawings that are both artistic and colorful. We also need portfolios to store our artwork so that it does not get ruined or lost. Please help us start our art club and allow my students continue to grow their creativity.
