Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

HSHS is excited to announce the upcoming 3rd Annual Buddy Run, an inclusive event where special needs students will partner with their peers from the general education population in a heartwarming 5K run/walk. The Buddy Run is more than just a race—it’s an opportunity for students to bond, develop lasting friendships, and promote a sense of inclusion and unity. This event is designed to break down barriers, celebrate diversity, and create lasting memories for all students involved.

This year our event will be a Color Run theme, and I am reaching out to you, our valued community supporters, to help us make this event a success by donating the t-shirts and colored powder to ensure every student has a positive experience.

Colors will be "thrown" on their white t-shirts during the run/walk to represent diversity within our school.

Your support will directly contribute to the success of this event, enhancing the school’s inclusive culture and making it an unforgettable day for our students.

At the end of the run/walk, the colorful tshirts will represent the diverse population in our school.

Ms. Lungi will only receive her materials if this project is fully funded by February 15.
