Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The project I want to use the color pencils is based on Pop Art. My students will choose a popular food product and use that as a starting point. My students will create a composition that emphasizes the typography, color, and form. We tried doing soda cans that were crushed and it was great, the issue was using color pencils don't always blend easily. The pencils I want to use are very highly recommended and are great for beginning students.

Prismacolor color pencils are known as being buttery.

This is what I want my students to experience. I also want to use the range of grays that can alter the color and make a new value for better shading.
