My Students
What can I say about my students other than they are “specialistically amazing.” Even with their cognitive development not being up to par, they make great efforts in learning and achieving everything they set their minds to do. They just need that extra TLC and someone who cares to make their journey more successful!!
My Project
Using color makes a huge impact on special education learners!! It turns a simple, boring lesson into something great and entertaining. Students, by nature, are attracted to color, and due to the severity of my students' needs, the impact of color is even greater. I try to make as many colored copies as I can to bring to school but there is nothing more successful than being able to print from within the classroom and have the materials ready when they are, and being able to show them the difference a color copy can make compared to a boring black and white one.
