My Project

Have you ever walked into Starbucks and they tell you the coffee machine is down? Or what about walking into McDonald's and the fryer is broken? Ridiculous notion, right? Try being a teacher who plans to the last detail and arrives early for work to make crisp copies of the lesson activities and the copier is giving an error code. Then you walk upstairs and the 2nd floor copier is jammed. And the last bastion of hope-the last copier in the building-is out of toner and none can be found! Talk about frustrating! You have to pivot and come up with a plan B, C, and D.

This project seeks to create a cache of printer ink in my classroom for use in my desktop printer in case of such emergencies.

With the ink in this project, if ever there is a repeat of CopierGate, I can go straight to my classroom and print to my heart's content without fear of running out of ink. I look forward to also printing color copies of maps, images for gallery walks, and so much more with this valuable resource at my disposal.
