This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are so excited to learn how to use color glazes in ceramics. They are full of ideas and I am so excited to support them in learning more! Students will need these glazes to work on a project exploring shapes and colors in ceramics.

Having a full spectrum of color will allow students the fun and creative outlet of learning color mixing and how to pair colors and how color theory works in ceramics.

I love how glazes help students to learn about how color inspires and fits into our everyday life and the ways colors inspire, uplift, and give feeling to art work. I hope that students will see color in a new way and be able to share their talents.
