My Project

My students are a curious bunch of bees ready to learn, explore, and create ideas. My school serves students who come from low-income housing, homeless shelters, or one parent households. Having access to certain materials like printing is very limited to my families.

I want to develop a strong home to school connection by collecting evidence via photos and student work to display throughout the classroom and bulletin boards.

With the help and donation of the printer I will be able to have access to not only black and white but also color printing. I would be able to print different teacher made manipulatives, games, worksheets, and self-made activities. In addition, I can capture students learning through photos and share with families during open school nights, parent engagement, or via a communication app. Lastly, having a printer in the classroom will also allow for me to maintain the progress of student success and learning through printing progress reports, and evidence of work.
