My Students

My students at West Side High School are self-motivated, resilient, and intentional about focusing on their college and career goals. They see every opportunity as a chance to advance and make a difference in their communities. The love and dedication that they show towards me, is the inspiration I need daily to encourage me. Sometimes we think our students need our hugs, but the transference of love through a hug gives me energy and motivation.

In an effort to make sure they have all the information and materials they need to be successful in working toward their goals, this project will help my students.

My Project

By having accordion style folders and binders, my students will have the tools necessary to learn organizational skills and the benefit of having all of their materials in one location. The materials that I have requested would help my students become responsible adults, and get prepared for life after high school.

This project will give my students just what they need to focus on their post-secondary goals.

Giving students the resources they need will make working toward their goals a lot easier. Two years ago, the class valedictorian was my student. She kept all of her material in a big folder and when asked for any of her information, she was always able to get it right away. It was then that I realized how awesome it would be if all of my students were exposed to the same materials.
