Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As I teach students about different college and career pathways sometimes it can get overwhelming all of the different options they can pursue. This next step into their future is exciting but simultaneously exhausting. To keep students engaged I try to play activities such as college and career trivia or jeopardy to make class fun every once in a while.

The snacks will serve as a way to keep them engaged as they will be used as prizes and incentives for college and career related activities such as successfully submitting applications, winning college trivias etc.

The cleaning supplies will be used to keep my the space tidy as snacks can be messy at times. I am hoping with this project I can make the students more excited about the process and give them something to look forward to.
