My Project

This upcoming Fall, I will embark on a new journey in my teaching: being a collaborative classroom teacher! These sensory friendly items will help make my classroom a warm, welcoming place for all of my students with various needs. Our classroom will cater to our students and their unique requirements.

Students deserve to feel safe and supported at school.

These items will help me to give students movement, quiet, sensory tools, and visual supports for our classroom routines. The headphones will maintain a peaceful environment as we engage in technology integrated lessons. The visual schedule will support students' sense of time and routines. The wiggle seats will support students who need more movement. Additionally, the socket covers will make our room more safe. All of these tools and more will help me to support my learners.
