Creative, Eager, Empathetic, Curious; I have the best students in the world, like most teachers claim. I want to do all I can for them and I need your help!
Technology is meant to improve the quality of our lives and increase discovery and we need the tools to make this true of our classroom experience.
My students are lucky to have laptops in my classroom, but I need more to make sure they are used with purpose and efficiency to increase collaboration and creativity. I want the technology to keep their learning fluid, engaging, and student-specific so they see relevance in what they're learning.
Collaboration Screens will allow me to innovate my teaching, increase the depth of their learning, and break down the walls between our classroom and the rest of the world!

My Project
Students should explore, create, collaborate, design, and inspire, and with the proper technology and enough freedom, they can!
Technology is only as effective as the way we use it and my students will be exploring our topics, making their ideas reality, individually, in partners, in groups, and as a class, mastering the all-important soft skills as they learn and create.
By using our 1:1 technology with a wall-mounted collaboration screen, we can truly collaborate and communicate effectively to acheive our goals rather than simply have groups split up tasks to complete an assignment. We can watch a variety of TEDtalks on a particular topic at the same time and then regroup to discuss. We can virtually bring in guest speakers to share their views, experts to help mentor, and other students as we connect with other classrooms. We can have multiple presentations at once, which means more practice and more learning.
